Day by day, the guide plans our trip according to conditions and tides. That’s when fishing truly comes alive. Sometimes at dawn, sometimes at night… AMAZING!
Fishing in Rodrigues Island can be enjoyed year-round. The GTs roam around the island and the lagoon. During the months of our “summer,” when wind and sea conditions are rough, that’s when you can target the big reef GTs.
It’s true that the best months to guarantee a great trip are October-November and February-March.
Sea conditions and tides will guide the type of fishing we do: calm seas and light winds mean dogtooth tuna jigging; big tides and waves mean going after the giant reef GTs.
