Most fishing in Panama is non-seasonal. The majority of fish are resident species, making the activity more dependent on tides, currents, water temperature, and other unpredictable factors rather than migratory patterns.

However, there are a few exceptions:

  • Yellow Fin Tuna : Typically arrives from January to June.

  • Snook and Corvina: More concentrated during the dry season, from January to March.
