Sparidae Fishing Expeditions

EXPEDITIONS

The places where other can´t go.

Sparidae fishing expeditions take you to the remote fishing grounds that very few anglers ever reach. From the Panama Tuna Coast to an active  Volcano in the Andaman Sea, GT flats off Lamu, Kenya  and live catamaran to explore the most remote doggies destinations on Seychelles— every destination in this portfolio has been personally scouted by our team before any expedition is ever offered to clients.

Our Fishing Expeditions — Built on First-Hand Experience

Every destination in the Sparidae fishing expeditions portfolio exists because someone from our team went there first. Before any package is offered, before any client is invited, we fish the water ourselves. We confirm the species, the seasons, the guide quality and the logistics. If something does not meet our standard, the destination does not make the list. This is not marketing — it is how we have always operated.

What makes our fishing expeditions different is not the destinations alone — it is the level of preparation behind each one. Small groups of maximum four anglers per boat. Expert local guides with years of knowledge on the specific water we fish. Accommodation and logistics handled entirely by Sparidae so that every client arrives ready to fish, not ready to organise.

Our current portfolio covers three of the most productive light-tackle fisheries in the world: the Panama Tuna Coast for roosterfish, yellowfin tuna and cubera snapper; the Andaman Sea volcanic reefs for Giant Trevally and dogtooth tuna; and Lamu Island in Kenya for GT jigging and surface fishing in one of East Africa’s most remote marine environments.

These are not package holidays with a fishing rod. These are serious fishing expeditions for anglers who want the real thing — remote locations, wild fish and an experience built entirely around catching. Follow our expeditions in real time on Instagram at @sparidae_com and contact us directly to check availability for the upcoming season.

HOW WE SELECT OUR FISHING EXPEDITION DESTINATIONS

Not every productive fishery becomes a Sparidae destination. Before any expedition is added to our portfolio, we apply a strict set of criteria: the target species must be present in numbers, the logistical access must be manageable for a small group, and the experience must justify the journey. If any of these three conditions is not met, we move on.

This selection process has taken us to more than a dozen locations across the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and East Africa. Of those, three have made our active expedition list. Panama, the Andaman Sea and Kenya are not the easiest destinations to reach — but they are the ones that consistently deliver the kind of fishing that anglers remember for the rest of their lives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN A SPARIDAE EXPEDITION

Our fishing expeditions are built for experienced anglers who understand light-tackle surface fishing. You do not need to be a professional — but you need to be serious. We fish hard, we start early and we do not slow down when conditions get uncomfortable. In return, we put you on fish that most anglers will never encounter.

Gear is your responsibility — rods, reels and lures should be rated for the target species. Accommodation, transfers, guiding and boat time are handled entirely by Sparidae. Group size is always small — never more than four anglers — which means every session is personal, focused and adapted to the conditions of that specific day.

Contact us to check availability for the next expedition window. Dates are limited and fill based on seasonal calendars, not calendar months.
